Visit League City is proud to sponsor the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) 31st Annual Wings Over Houston Airshow scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, October 19-20 at Ellington Field. This year’s show will feature performances by the U.S. Force Thunderbirds and the Royal Canadian Air Force Snowbirds. In addition, to showcasing some of the best civilian and military pilots in the world.
Plus, you can’t miss one of the largest displays of civilian and military aircraft in North America with 75+ aircraft.
Other highlights of the show include static displays of vintage and modern military aircraft as well as numerous exhibits and activities including: Legends and Heroes Tent featuring distinguished veterans signing autographs and memorabilia, NASA Driven to Explore Exhibit, Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Hangar 57, Experimental Aircraft Association, National USA Forces Museum, The 6th Cavalry Historical Association, Kid’s Carnival, motion simulator rides and more. The CAF Wings Over Houston Airshow is an IRC 501(c)(3) community event presented by the volunteer efforts of the Houston Wing, Gulf Coast Wing, and Tora! Tora! Tora! of the Commemorative Air Force, with support from the Lone Star Flight Museum, Texas Flying Legends Museum, Collings Foundation-Houston based at Ellington Airport, and the Vietnam War Flight Museum. One of the top air shows in the United States, this premier Houston event is dedicated to showcasing vintage World War II aircraft, along with the thrills of modern aviation, and has supported a variety of local and national charities during its 34-year history.
